I'm very excited and honored to announce that my photo of Venus and the Milky Way over a frozen Sea Isle City beach has been selected as the NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day! Each day Astrophysicist and Staff Scientist  Dr. Jerry T. Bonell and Astronomer and Astrophysicist Dr. Robert J. Nemiroff select a new image or photograph to be featured on the site and provide a brief explanation as well. This marks my third photo to receive the honor of being selected as the APOD.
